Vehicle wraps should only be applied to vehicle with original factory paint.  Vehicles that have been damaged and repainted may not have had the vehicle surface prepped correctly before it was repainted.  Poor preparation before painting may cause paint problems that could be aggrevated by applying vinyl to the vehicle.

Vehicles should also be free of debris (like tar) and free of rust.  Vehicle wraps and lettering will not adhere correctly to a surface that is not smooth and clean.

Vehicle wraps are a powerful form of advertising, and should not be thought of as a bandage.
